Due to the predicted inclement weather for Feb. 5, Kindergarten Registration, and the Mandatory Dual Language meetings, have been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 19. All time and location information remains the same.
District 200 is holding Kindergarten Registration on February 19th for parents of children entering kindergarten in the fall at Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center. In addition, parents will receive information about physicals and immunizations, Kids Club, and will be able to apply for a library card from the Woodstock Public Library.
Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, any time between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Parents interested in the Kindergarten Dual Language program MUST also attend one of the additional informational meetings to learn about the available class options. Both presentations will be in English and Spanish. Mandatory Dual Language Meetings

To be eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2019-2020 school year:
Children must be (5) years old on or before Sept. 1, 2019
State law requires an original or certified copy of the birth certificate at the time of registration; your child will not be registered without one. Hospital certificates are not acceptable.
Parents must also provide proof of residency in order to register their child
A registration fee of $130 will be collected at the time of registration. A slight increase may be added to the current fee pending action by the Board of Education during the budget development process.

Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center, 2045 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock
Program preference forms and registration materials for District 200’s 2019-2020 kindergarten classes will be due no later than Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019. Parents of students selected for the Dual Language Program will be notified at the end of March. If there are more applications than spaces available in the Dual Language Kindergarten program, a lottery will be held to choose student participants.
