Retiring teachers and staff members honored at annual dinner

The end of the school year is always a bittersweet time in District 200, as we say goodbye to treasured colleagues who are retiring.  The district celebrated the retirement of 19 teachers and staff members at its annual retirement dinner on May 16, hosted by the Board of Education, at the Old Courthouse Center on the Woodstock Square.

Superintendent Mike Moan thanked all of the employees for their work in the Woodstock School community over the decades and wished them an enjoyable retirement as the 2023-2024 school year comes to a close.

“Education is first and foremost about people, and these are people who’ve dedicated their careers to creating better opportunities for our community’s children. They and their contributions will be missed,” Moan said.

Please join us in wishing these dedicated employees all the best as they move on to new adventures!
