District 200 honors retirees

Twenty-five District 200 employees who will retire at the end of this school year were honored at a special recognition dinner sponsored by the Board of Education on Tuesday evening, May 21 at the Bull Valley Golf Club.  More than 100 family members, friends and colleagues paid tribute to the retirees who include teachers, associates, secretaries, custodians, specialists, and staff from buildings & grounds, and transportation.

Woodstock North High School a cappella singers, Children of the Chord, provided the evening’s entertainment. Emcee for the event was Greenwood Elementary School Principal Tom Wollpert.  Each retiree was congratulated and presented with a gift by Superintendent Mike Moan and Board of Education President Carl W. Gilmore.
