Food Distribution for D200 Children

  • Food Distribution for Fall 2020  Photo of a lunch bag and an apple

A decision by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) on Aug. 31, 2020 has made it possible for D200 to once again offer FREE breakfast and lunch to ALL students within District 200 boundaries - regardless of their free, reduced-price, or paid meal status. The USDA program is expected to last until as late as Dec. 2020, based upon funding availibility.

Families who believe they are eligible for free or reduced-price meals are encouraged to still file an application for the future. Free and reduced-price meal status is determined based upon a federal application form (the same way it would be during a normal school year). Parents who have questions regarding free and reduced-price meals will find more information, and an application form, at

    Menus will be posted at
