July 2023
Hello Creekside students and families,

First, I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and you are all able to relax and rejuvenate! Hard to believe we are less than a month away from the start of school. I'd like to start off by welcoming back our returning Falcons!
For our incoming 6th graders and new students, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Ryan Doyle, the Principal of Creekside Middle School. This is my 3rd year here at Creekside and 6th year in District 200! My wife, Ryane, and I moved to Woodstock 12 years ago, and we have two very energetic boys who keep us on our toes, 8-year-old Brantley and 6-year-old Easton. Woodstock is our home, and we are proud to send our boys to District 200 schools! I started my educational career 13 years ago as a middle school math teacher at Hannah Beardsley in Crystal Lake. I then served as the assistant principal of Village Elementary School in Round Lake for 2 years, and prior to Creekside, I was the principal of Dean Street Elementary School for the 3 years.
Throughout my experience, I have focused on supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. At Creekside, my goal is to empower both teachers and students to reach their full potential. I truly believe all students can learn! I wholeheartedly believe in building meaningful relationships with the staff, students, parents, and the community. To accomplish this, expect to see me in the hallways, classrooms, lunchroom, at after-school activities, and to fully immerse myself in the community. Students will receive rigorous instruction and be provided with many opportunities to grow and persevere! Here at Creekside, the lines of communication will be open for me to highlight all of the wonderful things our students are accomplishing.
My promise to you is that I will help support your child in a year full of engaging and meaningful work, and most importantly, that your child will have numerous opportunities to grow. I hope to continue to help Creekside be a place where children and families feel an atmosphere of curiosity, interactions, stimulation, and fun. Here’s to a great new year!
Go Falcons!
Enthusiastically,
Ryan Doyle
Principal
