Ryan Doyle, Principal
Dear Creekside families,
It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself, Ryan Doyle, as the new Principal of Creekside Middle School. Creekside’s reputation of having a family-like culture and whole student focus is what I am excited to be a part of and will continue to foster. My wife, Ryane, and I moved to Woodstock 10 years ago, and we have two very energetic boys who keep us on our toes, 6-year-old Brantley and 4-year-old Easton. I started my educational career 10 years ago as a middle school math teacher at Hannah Beardsley in Crystal Lake. I then served as the assistant principal of Village Elementary School in Round Lake for two years, and most recently have been the principal of Dean Street Elementary School for the last three years.
Throughout my experiences, I have focused on supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. At Creekside my goal is to empower both teachers and students to reach their full potential. My first step as the new principal will be to build meaningful relationships with the staff, students, parents, and the community. To accomplish this, expect to see me in the hallways, classrooms, lunchroom, and after-school activities, and to fully immerse myself in the community. Students will receive rigorous instruction and be provided with many opportunities to grow and persevere! Here at Creekside, the lines of communication will be open for me to highlight all of the wonderful things our students are accomplishing.
I also want to take time to invite you to our school! The more you are a part of our educational learning experience, the better your child’s experience. So, please visit! Attend after-school activities, be a member of our PTO, volunteer, and ask questions about your child’s learning experiences. We want you to feel like you are a part of the Creekside family.
My promise to you is that I will help support your child in a year full of engaging and meaningful work, and most importantly, that your child will have numerous opportunities to grow. I hope to continue to help Creekside be a place where children and families feel an atmosphere of curiosity, interactions, stimulation, and fun. Here’s to a great new year! Go Falcons!
