PRIDE Awards

  • The Board of Education PRIDE Awards were originally created by the District 200 Board of Education in 1990 to honor outstanding graduating seniors. The word “PRIDE” is an acronym that stands forWHS, D200 & WNHS logosPositive Recognition iDistrict 200 Education.”

    The 2023 District 200 Board of Education PRIDE Awards will honor one graduating senior at each high school. The award will recognize students who have exhibited true perseverance, showing courage and resilience as they faced life issues and obstacles on their way to receiving their high school diploma.

    The 2023 PRIDE Award recipients will each be invited for recognition at a Board of Education meeting and will receive a medallion to wear at graduation along with a monetary gift of $250.
