Welcome to Westwood Elementary School "Home of the Wildcats!"

Dear Westwood Wildcats,

I would like to introduce myself to you as the principal of Westwood Elementary School. My name is Ryan Hart and I am so excited to get the school year started with your children and your support!

In my 17 years in education, I have worked in three countries (Taiwan, China, and the United States) and worked with a particularly diverse group of students, families, and colleagues.  This variety of experiences has allowed me to learn from many great staff members and administrators.  These experiences have taught me that communication, collaboration, adaptability, and positive instructional leadership are keys to success as a principal today.  In my roles as an elementary teacher, middle school teacher, elementary assistant principal, and principal, I have learned about student growth and learning, and about effective leadership.  I look forward to continuing to be a part of this excellent Westwood team and the Woodstock community again this school year.

I look forward to continuing to work with and support our wonderful Westwood families throughout the school year.
