Fine Arts
The profound impact of arts education on children and youth follows them throughout their lives. Arts education rewards our children by helping them to reach practical goals such as academic achievement and career success. Arts education enriches our youth with social, cultural and emotional benefits.
We are very proud of our tradition of excellence in the fine arts. We have choral music, band, jazz, orchestra, theatre, and visual arts programs throughout the district, beginning with our youngest students. We have a long history of award-winning programs, and we love to share our students’ talents with our community.
As the new school year progresses, we will use this space to share and feature information about what’s happening in the arts in D200.
We appreciate the support of our community, and invite everyone to come and see first-hand why fine arts in D200 is something worth celebrating!
