The District 200 Mentor Program was formed in 1994 to encourage students to be successful in school and to provide extra support to help them develop to their fullest potential. The program matches students in kindergarten through 12th grade with caring adults and selected district high school students. These pairs meet once a week during the school day to develop a friendship that offers emotional, social and academic support. The school district is always in need of mentors and welcomes applications from interested volunteers.
