Is there research on the effects of closing the schools in Woodstock in the 80's?
In the early 80's due to declining enrollment, Clay Elementary and Westwood Elementary were temporarily closed.  No longitudinal study was done on the impact of those closures on students.
What were the enrollment projections from the last facilities study?
2003-2004 long-range projections indicated that by 2012-2013 the school district could expect to gain up to 4,000 more students with projected total enrollment of 10,065 if the building trend continued.  The actual 2012-2013 total district enrollment was approximately 6,600 students.
